Refund, Return, & Exchange Policy

 

Refunds 

We do not issue refunds. All sales are final. However, eligible returns may qualify for store credit only. Please review our Return Policy below for full requirements and instructions on how to request a store credit or exchange.

We encourage all customers to review their order carefully before completing their purchase. If you have any questions about our products, please contact our customer service team prior to placing an order.

Returns

At It Girl Hairtique, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, luxury hair products. We thoroughly inspect all hair before shipment to ensure it meets our high standards of quality and consistency. Due to health regulations, hygiene concerns, and the nature of the product, we do not accept returns unless the product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order. If approved, store credit will be issued once the item has been received and inspected.

Important:

  • Items must be returned unopened, unused, and with the original seal intact.

  • If the product has been opened, used, or tampered with in any way, it is not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.

  • Merchandise must be physically returned to us before any store credit is issued.

  • All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Exchanges
Exchanges are only permitted in the case of a defective item. If an exchange is approved, the item will be replaced with the exact product originally ordered—no substitutions will be made.

Exchange requests must be submitted within 48 hours (2 days) of receiving your order. Once the item is returned and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your exchange or store credit.

Please note: Federal law states you cannot return human hair products that have been used. We adhere to strict policies regarding federal law, health regulations, and hygiene concerns. If the item is removed from the bundle and used in any visible manner, or if the product has been opened or tampered with in any way all exchange policies are voided. The hair must remain in the bundle and not be untied at the top. Merchandise must be physically received before an exchange can be granted.

Shipping Policy

 

Standard Processing & Shipping

We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Your order will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. To ensure same-day shipment, orders must be placed by 12:30 PM EST. Please note that we do not ship on weekends or holidays. Any orders placed over the weekend, including those with overnight shipping, will be processed and shipped on the next business day.

Our standard shipping is handled via FedEx, DHL or USPS, and delivery times are as follows:

  • 3 to 5 business days for the East Coast
  • 4 to 7 business days for the West Coast

We appreciate your patience as we work to process and ship your order as quickly and accurately as possible.


Incorrect shipping addresses
To ensure proper delivery, please double-check that your shipping and email addresses are entered correctly, including all relevant details. This includes accurate abbreviations, street numbers, apartment/building numbers, and route information (if applicable). We are not responsible for lost, misplaced, or misdelivered packages due to incorrect address information provided at the time of purchase.

Receiving incorrect or incomplete orders

In rare occurrences, mistakes or delays can occasionally occur on our end and we will do our best to resolve them promptly. If you receive defective items, please contact us with clear pictures or videos showing the issue. Ensure the product is in its original, natural state and packaging (where possible) before sending us images.

We strongly encourage you to inspect the items thoroughly before installing or altering them in any way. This includes checking the length, color, and texture to confirm they meet your expectations. Please do not alter wigs or remove zip ties from bundles before inspecting the product.

At It Girl Hairtique, we are committed to providing high-quality luxury hair products. However, by purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Health & Safety Disclaimer

It Girl Hairtique is not responsible for any adverse reactions, allergic responses, scalp irritation, hair loss, breakouts, or other health-related issues that may arise from using our products. Individual sensitivities and allergies vary, and it is the sole responsibility of the customer to conduct appropriate testing before full application.

Patch Testing Requirement

In accordance with general U.S. consumer product liability standards, we strongly advise all customers to perform a patch test before use. Specifically:

  • For Wigs & Hair Extensions: Customers should inspect, cleanse, and test the hair by wearing it temporarily before full installation.
  • For Sew-Ins & Other Applications: Before sewing or gluing hair onto the scalp, a strand test should be conducted to assess any potential allergic reactions to materials such as adhesives, dyes, or processing chemicals.

By failing to conduct a patch test prior to use, the customer assumes all risks associated with potential scalp or skin reactions.

No Liability Agreement

By purchasing and using products from It Girl Hairtique, you agree that:

  • It Girl Hairtique and its affiliates, owners, employees, and suppliers shall not be held liable for any health-related complications arising from the use of our products.
  • We make no guarantees regarding the suitability of our products for individuals with sensitive skin, allergies, or medical conditions.
  • Customers assume full responsibility for understanding their own allergies, sensitivities, and health concerns before using our products.

Use at Your Own Risk

Under U.S. Product Liability Laws (Restatement (Third) of Torts: Products Liability § 402A), companies that provide products with clear warnings and instructions are not liable for damages resulting from the misuse or allergic reactions of consumers. By making a purchase, you agree to use our products at your own risk and release It Girl Hairtique from any claims, legal actions, or demands arising from adverse effects.

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing hair from It Girl Hairtique, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Legal Disclaimer & Liability Policy as well as our Return & Exchange Policy. These policies are legally binding, and all sales are final.

If you have any known allergies or scalp sensitivities, we recommend consulting a licensed dermatologist or healthcare professional before using any new hair products.
